Support Services
The African American Wholistic Wellness Hub provides comprehensive African Healing and Restorative Services designed to support healing and renew personhood, familyhood, and peoplehood bonds and connections. Services are provided in person, virtually, in homes with families, at other agencies and venues, and in the community. All activities and collaborations are designed to assist in restoring overall wellness and healthy practices for individuals, families, and groups.
Restorative services are of special interest to the unhoused, returning veterans, formerly incarcerated, institutionally traumatized, emotionally disconnected, those suffering from Intergenerational Sensoria-Harm, street and lay-workers, young children, and elders, while addressing prevention, early intervention, and direct services needs as indicated.
The Hub's Restorative Team includes Healers and Restorers, a Psychiatrist, Family Physician, Chiropractor, Resident Drummer, Community Healers, Urban Gardener, Nutritionist, Dancer, and Outreach Coordinator — reflecting the Hub's commitment to restoring wellness across every dimension of African American life. Through reciprocal relationships with institutions and community stakeholders, the Hub ensures that restoration, paradigm shifting, and cultural affirmation extend beyond its walls into the lived spaces of the people.
